About Me

I am a freelance international news journalist with over 4 years' TV, radio and print experience. I am currently working as a global video producer for The Associated Press and foreign news editor at Sky News, but am always curious about exciting new opportunities.

I recently gained a Master's in broadcast journalism with distinction from City, University of London, where I gained skills in TV and radio production and data journalism (to name but a few). I am also a fluent Arabic and French speaker.

Before moving to London in September 2021, I spent three years as a freelancer and staff reporter in Beirut, most recently for L'Orient Today, the sister publication of the nearly century-old French-language newspaper L'Orient-Le Jour. I previously worked as a breaking news and features reporter on the national desk of The Daily Star Lebanon. I have also contributed to several international television and radio programmes from Beirut.

I moved to Beirut in autumn 2018 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a Master's degree in Arabic and French. During my 4 year degree, I spent nine months studying Arabic in Amman, Jordan, and three months working in a centre for asylum seekers in Lyon, France.
